The Center for Women’s Legal Researches, Counselling and Protection (CWLRCP) has established a food manufacturing incubator for women benefiting from the “Hayat” project. This initiative falls under the project “A Holistic Approach to Sheltering Services for Women Victims, Perpetrators, and Survivors of Violence in Palestine,” in partnership with UN Women and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
Concurrently, the Center is conducting specialized food manufacturing training, consisting of 50 training hours over 12 days, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. This training is led by consultant and trainer, Ms. Ibtisam Salem.
The training has been well-received by the target group, who expressed their satisfaction with their selection and participation, citing the potential benefits to them, both within their homes through food processing and preservation, and through the establishment of sales outlets. The idea behind this incubator and training initiative stems from the Center’s efforts to economically empower these women in the future.
