March 8th: End the Siege, Unite, End the Occupation
March 8th: End the Siege, Unite, End the Occupation

CWLRCP – Gaza, extends its appreciation and congratulations to all Palestinian women, both at home and in the diaspora, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8th.

Palestinian women, who continue to struggle on all political and social fronts, at home, at work, in schools, and in decision-making positions, aspire today to a better and brighter future in a state free from Zionist occupation and where the darkness of political division has dissipated. As they struggle, they look forward to the hope of liberating our homeland, achieving our independence, and building our national democratic state with Jerusalem as its capital.

This year’s International Women’s Day comes as Palestinian women continue to suffer from oppression, injustice, and violence on the social and family levels, even in its most severe forms. Five women and a child have been killed in less than two months, divided equally between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. In the Gaza Strip, one woman was killed by Israeli occupation forces.

The memory of March 8th this year comes as the Gaza Strip remains under siege, where women pay a double price due to the lack of basic necessities such as food and medicine. They also pay the price of suffocation in the large prison as a result of the blockade, the closure of crossings, and the prevention of freedom of movement and travel.

We at CWLRCP emphasize the fulfillment of our demands, which are the demands of all Palestinian women: to insist on victory for our people’s national cause in the face of the occupation, to insist on restoring our national unity and rejecting division, and to insist on obtaining our civil and political rights on the basis of participation and equality in order to build Palestinian society on democratic foundations.

Greetings to all Palestinian women.

Together for freedom and independence.

Together for legislation guaranteeing women’s rights equal to men’s rights.

Greetings to all Arab women and women of the world, and together for the victory of women’s issues and rights.

Glory and immortality to the souls of our martyrs, both men and women.

No to the blockade… No to division… No to the occupation.
