Ms. Fawz Ali Hassan, Assistant of the United Nations Humanitarian Response Fund, and Mr. Saeed Al-Madhoun, Coordinator of the Protection Unit in Gaza – Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, visited The Center for Women’s Legal Researches, Counselling and Protection (CWLRCP).

The visit, attended by Ms. Zeinab Al-Ghunaimi, Director of the Center, aimed to follow up on the activities of the “Protection and Empowerment of Women in the Gaza Strip” project, funded by the United Nations Humanitarian Fund projects. The project team attended the meeting to brief the visitors on all activities implemented during the first half of the project, in addition to the plan proposed for implementation during the last half of the project.

Furthermore, they visited the headquarters of the “Hayat” project for the protection and empowerment of women and families to learn about the most important services provided to beneficiary women, which include psychological, social, and legal support services. The delegation was also briefed on the various sections of the “Hayat” project.
