CWLRCP Concludes Self-Care Training for Women Survivors of Violence

The Center for Women’s Legal Researches, Counselling and Protection (CWLRCP) concluded a self-care training program for 15 women who are survivors of violence and beneficiaries of the center’s services, including the “Hayat” Center project for the protection and empowerment of women and families. These women had previously received a variety of integrated legal, social, psychological, and health services provided by the center.

The training, which consisted of 24 hours over four days, was conducted as part of the project “Combating Root Causes to Confront Violence Against Women in the Gaza Strip,” funded by the Feminist Peace Foundation. This project aims to contribute to the prevention of gender-based violence and increase access to justice and comprehensive protection for women and girls survivors of gender-based violence in the Gaza Strip, in accordance with international human rights frameworks and conventions.

The beneficiaries expressed their happiness with the training and its impact on their personalities by achieving satisfaction and psychological stability, and increasing their self-confidence in facing the psychological pressures they are exposed to. They emphasized the need for more similar activities.
