The Center for Women’s Legal Researches, Counselling and Protection (CWLRCP), as part of the “Young Women Lawyers Forum” project, held eighteen (18) educational meetings over four months for sixty (60) new female lawyers, fourth-year law students, and forum members, with the aim of developing their legal skills.
The workshops aimed to achieve several objectives, including the professional and legal empowerment of female lawyers; increasing knowledge and community awareness through interaction with the public; enhancing self-confidence and discovering personal skills; determining their readiness to learn about women’s rights; selecting active participants for the Center’s educational projects; and creating social and family relationships among forum members.
The Young Women Lawyers Forum project, funded by the German Heinrich Böll Foundation, aims to develop the Young Women Lawyers Forum to enable them to work as a cohesive cultural group from a gender perspective to defend women’s rights and develop local community awareness of these rights, and to try to create job opportunities for young female lawyers.
