As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, The Center for Women’s Legal Researches, Counselling and Protection (CWLRCP) implemented recreational days for women survivors of violence. The Center for Women’s Legal Researches, Counselling and Protection (CWLRCP) conducted two recreational days for (60) women survivors of violence from across the five governorates of the Gaza Strip. The first day involved women from the Gaza and North governorates, numbering (30) women. The second meeting was held in Rafah and included women from the southern governorates, with (5) hours dedicated to each day.
The recreational activities were part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign and fall under the project “Combating the Root Causes of Violence Against Women in the Gaza Strip,” funded by the Cordaid Foundation (CFD). At the end of the meetings, the beneficiaries expressed their happiness with the activities, stressing the need for more similar events that would alleviate the psychological pressures they face.
