The Center for Women’s Legal Researches, Counselling and Protection (CWLRCP) in Gaza, in partnership with the Legal Guidance Center in the West Bank and the Jerusalem Center for Women in Jerusalem, is implementing a project entitled “Dispersed Families in Light of Conflicting Legislation and Laws,” funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Open Society Foundations (OSI).
The overall objective of the project is to highlight the problems faced by fragmented Palestinian families due to the different laws in force in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel. The project pays particular attention to divorced women who are unable to access their children.
