The “Bayan” Youth Advocacy Team visited the Center for Women’s Legal Researches, Counselling and Protection (CWLRCP) today to present the team’s initiative, “Towards Achieving Palestinian Reconciliation and Ending the Division.”
The team discussed with the Director of the Center, Professor Zeinab Al-Ghunaimi, the initiative’s provisions, which include the immediate implementation of all agreements signed in Cairo and Doha; abstaining from unilateral decision-making that affects supreme national interests; preventing security services from interfering in the work of professional syndicates and student unions, and granting them freedom to operate in accordance with the provisions of laws and legislations; and initiating practical measures to create an environment conducive to Palestinian reconciliation by releasing all detainees in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
It is noted that the team includes a group of young male and female students and graduates from various disciplines who are active in volunteer work serving the youth and the community, and they are based at the Beit Al-Hikma Institute for Consultation and Conflict Resolution.
